1928-29 EBL
William J. Scheffer took over as President in a reorganized EBL.  The Philadelphia Elks dominated the first half of league play in what must be considered a semi-pro league at best. Pattison turned their season around in the second half and won the league championship in a best two of three series with the Elks.
