This isn't a link to anything.

I've always been curious about one of Denton's teams, the Utah Stars in their last 1.1 seasons.

The '75 Stars were led in minutes by these players:
Code: Select all
Min     Utah '75       ht    pos
3414    Ron Boone      6  2    GF
3205    Moses Malone   6 10    CF
2791    Gerald Govan   6 10    CF
2556    Jim Eakins     6 11    C
2037    Al Smith       6  1    G
1482    Randy Denton   6 10    CF

One half of their player-minutes were taken by 4 guys who were basically centers.
Coached by Bucky Buckwalter and Tom Nissalke, they went 38-46.
They were the ABA's worst team in Turnover% (.171) and in turnovers forced (.132).
They were below average in blocks; amazingly barely average in both Offensive (.343) and Defensive Rebound% (.668).
Their team FG% (.473) was also average.
Better than avg in FG% allowed (.460).
