If you have it handy, can you look what is listed for Wilt's career-high in assists, for both the regular season and the playoffs, through the 1961-62 season?

it only has regular season, and doesn't list his number of assists (it must not have been available).

It doesn't list assists for some players or at all?

In the first edition, they probably only included stats that were certain to be career-highs. I guess, in subsequent editions they started to include season-highs in the career-highs section for some stats that were hard to track down (rebounds for a guard, assists for a center, etc.). That would explain low rebound "career-highs" for Cousy, Guerin...

yes, some players, not all. about 2/3rds of them. about the same for rebounds.

it probably has as much to do with the amount of information in the newspaper box scores, although i would think Bill Mokray had access to just about anything the league had available at the time.

Can someone provide info in which season the following players first achieved double-figure career-highs in both rebounds and assists?

Wayne Embry
Dick Barnett
Archie Clark
Tom Van Arsdale
Bob McAdoo
Lucius Allen
Tom Boswell
Don Chaney
Phil Chenier
Steve Hawes
Tom Henderson
John Mengelt
Nate Williams

And if Joe Caldwell and Herm Gilliam had double-figure career-highs in rebounds and assists in the postseason?
