Very cool.
10,000 points
Youngest
1. LeBron James 23 years, 59 days
2. Kevin Durant 24 years, 33 days
3. Kobe Bryant 24 years,194 days

15,000 points
Youngest
1. LeBron James 25 years, 79 days
2. Kobe Bryant was 27 years, 136 days

LeBron got to 10,000 not quite a year younger than Durant.
He got to 15,000 more than 2 years younger than Kobe.

Because of James' 20,000th point's milestone I updated the first post in this topic to include it. James broke the previous mark (Kobe) in the category of youngest by more than year and in terms of number of games he is eight. I also added a few names to the list of fastest in the 15,000 points category. By the way, in the same season, 30,000 (Kobe), 20,000 (James) and 10,000 (Durant) milestones were reached by some of the biggest names in NBA.

I think even more amazing feat was done yesterday by James when he notched also his 5,000 assist. Doing it, he became a member of 20K points 5K rebounds and 5K assists as the second fastest NBA player ever (behind only Oscar Robertson, who did it in his 671 game).

I've just updated scoring milestones due to Durant's achievement (2nd youngest to score 15,000 points, 10th in terms of number of games).
