Cougars v Cyclones 1968

Postby luckyshow » Fri Feb 03, 2017 11:20 pm

I can't view this page, only the scrambled summary.
This is in New Jersey, Asbury Park paper, 3/28/1968
https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/145045500/

This is the meager information:
3/27/1968 51 John Gregg, JJ Cougars 121-111 Cyclones, at Bradley Beach
Also for Cougars: 49 (15,19) Indelicato
For Cyclones 44 Kevin Myles
called an Independent game

No first name for Indelicato.
Not sure what the JJ in front of Cougars is for.
Not sure what any of this is, absolutely none of this shows up anywhere else in searches

Anybody either have a clue or can view this page zoomed up?

Thanks

I subscribed to Newspapers.Com last year and have gotten my money's worth.

newspapers.com is cheaper than newspaperarchive.com. They have different newspapers. An interesting history that no one would buy the book of would be on microfilm. The various companies. Proquest has the big cities. The Staten Island Advance must have been unique. 1920 to 1947 is only at St. George. Not even with state system. From 1948 is available, but before 1920 is only at historical Richmondtown library on original papers, not even microfilmed.
