Last year I talked with Greg Newell, son of legendary Pete Newell. I asked Greg the following question: "How many people did your Dad present in Hall of Fame ceremonies?"

His answer: "Good question? I think he presented Bobby Knight; Phil Woolpert; off the top of my head; whereas, Red Auerbach presented my Dad, when he was elected in '77. They both served in the Navy,
together and were shipmates and became friends, during WWII."

Thanks to Robert's list we see that Newell didn't present Woolpert but he presented Lute Olson in 2002. And he was Jerry Colangelo's co-presenter. But I'm pretty sure he presented more than three Hall of Famers (Knight, Olson and Colangelo).

Also, I know three more presenters for 2002 Hall of Fame Class:

Drazen Petrovic [Willis Reed]
Magic Johnson [Larry Bird]
Larry Brown [Dean Smith]

My countryman Mirko Novosel was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2007, his presenter was Dave Gavitt, who passed away two and half weeks ago.

Greg Newell just confirmed to me that Pete Newell also presented Jerry West. He wasn't sure about Phil Woolpert but he added that Pete single handedly worked to get Phil in.

i found at least five for Red Auerbach - Bob Cousy, Bill Sharman, Pete Newell, Kevin McHale and Lenny Wilkens (as coach)

and there may be more from the '60s/'70s that i couldn't find.
