Other than Swen - who led both leagues in rebounding in his professional career - have there been any other major leaguers who did not start for their college team?

In his 2 seasons at UCLA, Mark Eaton did not start a game. He played a total of 195 minutes in 30 games

I seem to recall Swen Nater starting in a college all-star game -- was there such a thing? -- because Walton couldn't play.
And he was great. Maybe the 2nd best center in NCAA ?

Swen was MVP in the Pizza Hut college all-star game in Las Vegas and also did well in the Olympic Trials. In each case, he played due to Walton's absence. HIs performances in those venues led to him becoming a high draft choice.
