Re: On specialized RAPM products

Would be very interested in single-season regular season only vanilla RAPM with off/def splits from 96-97 to 22-23. Not sure if this is specialized, but there isn't a single great source.

Re: 1994 Plus/Minus

PBP in some form has to go back to 87-88 at the least, since that's the first edition of the Sixers Media Guide with dunk data (unless they just counted dunks manually from watching games, as opposed to referring to the PBP). But yeah, would be amazing if the PBP for those three seasons is digitali...

Re: History of Plus/Minus in Basketball?

Pollack first started reporting it I believe in 75-76 in his annual yearbooks for the Sixers.

Re: RAPM request thread

J.E. - Whenever you have a chance, would love to see final RAPM (NPI and multi-year) through the end of the finals. Thanks for all you do.

Re: Checking in on Celtics lineup usage (and other teams)

What should the Clippers do at this point? Only option would seem to be staggering the starters aside from the beginning and end of games but even that might not be enough.

Re: Curry and the Warriors' historic season.

Do we know which teams dictate the pace? If GS is comfortable at 99 possessions per game, and SA likes to operate at 92, what is the norm for Pace in a game or series between them? A "slow" team may have outbursts of attack when the odds are better. Does a run-n-gun team have a slowdown o...

Re: RAPM request thread

What's a "full"/"complete" dataset? Isn't a season only then complete when the season is over? Anyway, I posted this https://t.co/C3sHzpJokl on Twitter a couple of hours ago Sorry, I meant full/complete as in for all players in the league (as opposed for a handful). Thanks, I ha...

Re: RAPM request thread

J.E. - It's probably too early for a complete 15-16 dataset (I think last year the first full set was through the all-star break), but how are these guys doing in overall NPI RAPM for the season: Russell Westbrook Stephen Curry Kawhi Leonard LeBron James Draymond Green Kevin Durant James Harden Chri...

Re: 2015-16 Team win projections

I feel like Houston should figure things out, New Orleans on the other hand, I'm more nervous about. Last I checked, all their lineups with Gordon were problematic. Minnesota looks to be better than anticipated. It's a huge credit to KG that he's (presumably) doing such a great job of mentoring the ...

Re: Checking in on Celtics lineup usage (and other teams)

Last time I checked, lineup combos Houston with Lawson and New Orleans with Gordon had brutal splits.

What changes would you guys advise for their rotations? Any specific units worth featuring that they haven't been already?

Re: 2015-16 Team win projections

Not to overreact, but through the first few days, feels like my big misses will be IND (46, too high), SAC (31, too low), NOP (49, too high), DET (39, too low).
