2 notes:
1. I would say some of this voting is players who other players have a grudge with. It's a small sample, so that effects things.
2. It's odd but if people say you're overrated, are you really overrated? Seems being called overrated would say you're not.

Re: Why is DeMarcus Cousins starting?
More a case of managing egos I'd say. The job of a coach isn't always just putting out your best lineups especially in a case like Golden State's. They can afford to not be at their best and still consistently win games, and keeping Cousins happy reduces friction in the locker room. Given his contra...

Re: Podcasts
For the draft Game Theory with Sam Vecenie covers it a bit, as does What's on Draft? (though the latter hasn't done one in over 6 months for TuneIn so I don't know if they still make it). I'm not sure on any analytics one's other than I believe Ben Taylor has a podcast I haven't listened to yet (@el...

Re: 2018-19 season commentary
The Kings are really really fun. OKC more fun without Melo. Utah, Denver, NOLA, and Philly I enjoy too.

Re: Speculative trade connections
The Jazz players are all much more useful, and the Lakers want cap space.

Re: How can the Celtics trade for Kyrie Irving be rationaliz
I'd note it may be true but KOC is a Boston fan and has rationalized some things in the past iirc.

Re: How can the Celtics trade for Kyrie Irving be rationaliz
Front offices likely don't look into stats the same way people outside might. I'd say this forum and some others online see basketball entirely differently than FOs (or ex players a la Danny Ainge) do. Personally I'd take IT straight up over Kyrie.

Re: Way-too-early 2017-18 Forecasts
That Boston line is so strange, I don't think I've seen a single person who thinks it's over. I get the east is weak but that's too high. Same for Philly.

Re: Trade Value
Trade value differs for each team too, it doesn't exist in a vacuum. What a player is worth depends on who is trading for him and moving him, and it can vary somuch I'm not ure this is possible to define with a calculation. An in teresting exercise for sure though, and I'd be intrigued as I'm really...

Re: Trade Paul George
That was unexpected. Paul George may be the most "like Durant" player in the league. Durant Lite, if you will. But he can be 2nd fiddle to the Oscar-ized Westbrook. And this was exactly my sentiment. What's stranger is OKC saved money and their hypothetical "worst case" if Westbr...

Yeah that would be bad. Would definitely change my opinion, though I'd think they'd want to pair them.

Re: Team Management: How Solid?
I don't know when they start to win, but Booker to me is exciting. Awful defender but could be a top scorer pretty quickly, I think with a full season of a real big and PG, no Knight, they'd look a lot better. I'd gladly take any of last year's picks, Booker, or Bledsoe. The big man situation isn't ...

Re: Team Management: How Solid?
Those were the players teams wanted for superstars, I'm pretty sure the entire NBA would take any and all of them. They've got one of the better young WC cores.
