Re: What to do with the Suns?

There's no real reason for Eric Bledsoe to be on this team, besides the fact that they would be dreadful without him. The Brandon Knight contract is quite the anchor. I'm not even sure they could pull the Lakers/Nets deal here and attach one of the young guys to get rid of him. I'm assuming Len take...

Re: Pelicans

This team isn't good. What am I missing here? I'm short ~4700 minutes. Where do they go? It's too bad they can't sign KCP, as he could slot in perfectly with this team.

Re: 2016-17 Celtics

Obviously, the SF minutes numbers are ridiculous. I expect the SG/SF/PF minutes to largely melt together. This is a really good regular season team. Without a consolidation trade, I don't see them as a real threat to Cleveland. For now, much like Tangotiger's Marcel projections for baseball, I have ...

Re: Rockets

They're thin, but that's OK. The team is built for the playoffs. As Crow mentioned, they have 8 guys. After that, it falls off of a cliff. They'll be looking to add buyout guys mid-season. If they do some sort of deal for Melo w/ Ryan Anderson leaving, it will largely be a wash in my numbers. http:/...

Re: Kings

I have no idea what this team is doing, but at least the have a ton of young guys. The Randolph contract is perplexing. I don't mind the VC deal, though. 1 year, $8M. In theory, he should be good for the locker room. Justin Jackson is a UNC guy, so maybe they can bond over Chapel Hill or something. ...

Re: Raptors

This one is easy. They're still a good team. They have no chance to beat the Cavs. They're basically guaranteed to be in the playoffs for the next two years, so they might as well just keeping chugging along. There's value in the organization simply being solid.

People are sleeping on the Hornets. I'm not entirely sure how they'll balance the minutes at center, but they need to limit Kaminsky there as much as possible. Per 82games, Kaminsky was +6.8 at PF and -4.0 at C, with close to an equal split in minutes. I'm sure they'd love a mulligan on the Batum de...

For '17-18, this team is not very good. I would be shocked to see Thad Young finish the season in Indiana. If they don't trade him, and he opts out at the end of the year (he holds a $13.8M player option for '18-19), the Oladipo would be the only non-rookie deal that is fully guaranteed for '18-19. ...

Re: Pistons

What exactly is the plan here? They already have $100M committed for NEXT season, and that is before dealing with Avery Bradley. In my snapshot, they're incredibly short in minutes at the 3/4/5. Some guys are going to need to dramatically bump up their role this year. Sadly, since the East is an atr...

Thunder

Good squad. No real holes. They get a little weird at SG/SF, but they should be able to adjust based on matchups. I'd be interested to see a Westbrook-Roberson-George-Patterson-Adams lineup.

Re: TWolves?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess the only option here is that Bjelica loses a big chunk of minutes. It's not as if Dieng/Gibson can drop down to the 3. Why in the world did they take Justin Patton? Obviously medicals play a huge factor, but this could have been a great fit for OG Anuonoby or maybe Terrance Ferguso...

Started to take a look at the Nuggets and I ran out of minutes. The Nuggets almost have to make a trade before the season starts. Here's a partial look for right now.

Re: Pistons

I don't blame Pistons for not paying KCP 20 mil a year, but their situation is a mess. I blame mediocre drafting the most, even though they capped themselves out Detroit was never getting good FAs anyways. I also can't remember the last time Detroit had multiple 1st round picks in the same draft I ...

Re: 2016-17 Celtics

We're now up to 23 deals, $2958M AAV and 95.2 wins in 17/18. That puts us at $3.1M per win. I just got back from vacation, so I went ahead and updated my sheet . Right now, it breaks down like this: Deals: 52 Total AAV: $649.4 million Total Wins: 217.4 $ per win: $3.0 For reference, the league spen...
