From where the Knicks are right now, this is how I'd run the rotation initially next season:

Payton Ellington Knox Randle Robinson

play very uptempo for 6-8 minutes

do pretty much a complete line switchover to

Smith Bullock Barrett Portis Gibson for 4-6 minutes

then back to the starters.

The other perimeters play when someone is injured or not playing right or well.

Adjust the line if / when the lineup and sublineup data warrants.

As currently designed, the Magic are a first round exit team. They did not do anything sufficient to change that. Internal development is unlikely to change that.

To change levels, they need major changes at several or every position.

Last season only 3 teams had a road record in regular season notably better than .500. The two finalists and the Bucks. That was the fewest in at least last 5 years. It appears that 5 or more is typically clear of .500, though only 3 may have great road records.. Title winner met this criteria every season for at least last 5. Probably better meet it and / or have best record & get home court throughout playoffs.

I should have said that Kadeem Allen should get a shot to unseat Smith or Payton at some point.

With Nurkic injured and Aminu gone, the Blazers really need the super-rebounding of Whiteside. Especially with Tolliver. Will they play Skal L. much? I dunno. Might need to. Or get someone else.

When Whiteside is not on the court they probably will lose rebounding, maybe badly.

Only 3 of the 9 Celtic's own draft picks and undrafted initial signees by them on team were positive on BPM in regular season and just 3 of 9 positive in playoffs. 8 remain. How many will be positive next season?

Only one of the 3 "top" guys were positive BPM in regular season and 2 modestly playoffs. Doesn't look that impressive.

Just one of the 3 international born players in this group were positive in the regular season and playoffs. They have gone for another.

Jazz make changes but Mitchell and Snyder remain. Both really sucked in last playoffs. Mitchell had the by far worst boxscore metrics of the top 8 rotation guys. Snyder's most used 4 playoff lineups were really bad to horrendous. Unless they do way better next playoffs, team will likely not get better results.

The Warriors are not done with title contention.

They should be tough in the next playoffs.

Is there anywhere one list of offseason player movements from team to team, by trade or free agency or whatever?
I'm curious if the East or West conference are getting/losing talent.

Also, why are AD and DMC again on the same team? The 2 highest Usage centers with one ball?
Doesn't LeBron still just want centers to get out of his way?

Why are the 2 best off/def SF going to the same team (Kawhi/George)?
Next I suppose Westbrook and Harden are getting back together.

Sorry I don't see trades or who signed where.
I can look up each team at b-r.com under Transactions; where it's current thru June 30.
"Current season transactions are updated regularly, but not daily."

You might have to combine the lists yourself.

Trades (with sort flexibility):

Also depth charts like this https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/depth-charts but still has plenty of flaws.

Lakers design might be flawed unless they establish a rhythm with LeBron for when Davis and Cousins step out or post up. With LeBron running the show, maybe they sort it out.

George - Leonard will be interesting to watch. Maybe both at start and finish and mostly separate in between. And load management days off.

Westbrook - Harden again would be a trip. Probably 2 of Paul, Westbrook, Harden all the time. Probably all 3 at finish, maybe at start. Politically it might be 3 camps. Maybe Westbrook joins Harden in telling Paul to shut up and step back or off.

How much better than average will the Mavs defense get?

Good front court, weak backcourt.

It is early and they will want to try many things, but my first quick thoughts on lineups for Mavs would be:

starters: Curry Lee Finney Smith Doncic Porzingis
bench unit: Wright or Barea Hardaway Jackson Kleber Powell

closers Wright Curry Jackson Doncic Porzingis
