Moving forward with Bulls

Post by Crow » Thu May 16, 2019 6:50 am

I'd complete redo their PG and Center positions. SG Lavine, backed up by Dunn and / or somebody new. SF Porter, backed up Lavine and / or somebody new. PF Markannen, backed by Carter.

They'll give Dunn some time at PG and Carter time at C. I guess try it but I am not enthusiastic about either use. If they want to tank, then do lots of both.

I pushed Dunn to Sg and Carter to PF in part based on what the by position data estimates are at 82games. That isn't a perfect basis but the data shows both better at these secondary positions. Even if that is speculative, that they were not adequately successful at their primary positions last season is not speculative. Whether they will be or not next season is speculative again. I lean toward no. Moreso with Dunn but Carter was not as good as I expected.
