Re: Expectations / advice for the Bucks
Seems like there's a world where they're dominating on defense with all the length and switching they have, while Giannis is flipping it around to 3pt shooters like Middleton, Snell, Brogdon, etc. and killing teams. The reality is not even close. They have played like a poorly coached team for two coaches in a row, which could be a coincidence, or a sign that the players are not listening to their coaches very well. Grain of salt but Kidd is making it sound like he lost them by wanting them to work harder and take things more seriously. This SI article by a writer that has clearly seen more Bucks games than me seems to suggest their defense occasionally dominates with the tools it has on its roster, but more often falls apart because they get lax with the attention to details and effort https://www.si.com/nba/2018/03/30/milwa ... jason-kidd

Last season they were below average on offensive rebounding, defensive rebounding, shot defense and fouling. All these problem areas remain and mostly got worse. The only real factor improvement was getting to the line. They went from average to elite on that. Obviously they need more changes. At every level.
