Here is a new approach to potential research and discussion:
If any current / former team insiders (of any type) want to share a research question or topic that they would like to get feedback, research help on, mention it here. Can be drop and sit back and observe, active discussion, joint work or whatever. If you want to communicate by private message instead of public discussion that is alright too.
Assume this is non-compensated work unless you want to do something big enough and important enough to compensate.
You can welcome all to respond or target students (or whoever). Specify tools / minimum skills or see what happens. Start small and see if it is worth talking further with someone. Give interested parties a pathway for communication and trial.
Draft, player evaluation and valuation, lineup analysis, whatever.
If non-disclosure is required, state that and the terms.
If non-team actors (media, agents, players, etc.) want to suggest something similar that would be ok too.
