Any public work about player tracking

Post by Gym_Rat »

Hi everyone,

Last Wednesday, Grant Fiddyment, working for 76ers as a data scientist, was invited by our professor as guest speaker for sports analytics class. He mentioned that there already have some public works in terms of player tracking, similar to what STATS shows on this page(https://www.statsperform.com/team-perfo ... ayer-data/).

He himself has a personal website(http://neurocoding.info/research/bball/) which shows a similar work. But unfortunately, the data he used and a very important url is 404 right now. I do remember he said there is some public work, does anyone know some work I can take a look on?

Appreciate it!
