Concern about a mid-range game is reasonable but it is not a major concern to me unless he is a first or second offensive option.

I didn't watch these videos yet but have watched others.

Most Americans will know nothing about Kyle Hines.

Top 8? For me, the bigger question would be is he top 4 or top 2.

Update (subject to change) my top 5 preferences (not predicted selections): Wiseman, Okongwu, Toppin, Haliburton, Vassell in that order.

Non-lottery and under-rated? Azubuike, Queta, Prichard, Ayayi, Oturu? These are questions at this point. I need to watch video later. What do you think of these? Have other candidates?

I have spoken favorably of Jalen Smith but briefly. The question is how high does a team need to go to get him? Tankathon has had him 20-30. I'd be pretty comfortable taking 15th. Maybe 10th if fear of competition heightens.

Hughes highlight reel impresses more that his stat record. I dunno where he should go. Mid-second round might be too far down.

If Spurs can take Toppin at around 11, they will have done well. For it to happen, a handful of GMs have to make earlier mistakes. Probably will, but will 10 pass on Toppin?

Might Spurs pass on Toppin? Okongwu unlikely still there but would be strong competition if still there. Would they try for Avdija? I would strongly vote against it.

If Warriors can get Wiseman, I assume they'd take him. Who would be second choice? Maybe Haliburton, Okongwu or Toppin. Maybe via a tradedown.

If Cavs can take Edwards, would they? Probably. Make same mistake (guards who play for themselves and are not as good as they think) for 4th time recently.

What / who do the Timberwolves want? I assume a forward. SF might be more likely but it could go either way. Avdija is projected at Tankathon. Would be bad choice imo. Toppin seems far better to me than Avdija or Okoro.

Ball could fall to 15-25 if Knicks, Pistons or Hornets don't take him. Or more likely, somebody takes him and trades him to somebody else who wants him. Whoever that is. Magic? Jazz?

Tyler Bey on the surface appears like a better prospect than some higher than him in mock drafts. More review would be appropriate.

My reaction to other mock drafts remains that half of the top 10 taken will be taken too high. 10-30 there are lots of decent or potentially decent choices. Team picking then should be able to find a prospect for a role player need.

Picks 2 - 4 have a high likelihood to be mistakes. Based on over-hyped names and the teams likely to be making those choices.

Imo, Avdija should probably go 12 - 25. Edwards, 6 or later. Ball, 8th tops or imo later or much later. I wouldn't take any of them. Pass and trade down if given the opportunities.
