Google Docs has changed their formatting more often than I've managed to adjust to them, but the link above attempts to share a bunch of hours of downloading (and formatting, and totaling) from 30 pages for each year, like this one:

B-R.com has playoff game stats since 1991, and so it's possible to gather the stats of every playoff series since that time, one by one, by selecting team and opponent for each series.
Done in Excel. Someone let me know if this is really downloading, or if I have failed to make it share-able?
Edit: first attempt gives me a "try again later" message. Does it get better?
Edit 2: I've gotten thru and downloaded once in about 7 tries. Sigh.
It's about 1.3 megabytes.

I'd welcome downloading and using the data that you took the time to prepare and share but I can't read .xlsx files due to old software.
I hope someone with interest in the data will give you a courtesy check on its availability.

OK, here it is converted to a google docs version.
Now it appears instantly. Hit File, Download As >, OpenOffice ?
At the bottom of the spreadsheet, slide the divider between the tabs and the horizontal slider to the right, to see the 21 tabs for each postseason.
The columns:
- After the year is p (player) and t (team). This makes for easy sorting and re-sorting to something like the original form.
- The red column rd is playoff round: a for 1st rd, b for 2nd, c for conference finals, f for finals.
- G and GS: In team totals, note that under GS you find the # of games played, and under G you also see the number of overtime sessions: A 6-game series may appear as 6.1 (actually 6.1041666...) since it was calculated as (Min/240). Both these numbers would seem to have utility.
- Minutes for teams are manually adjusted to 240*G + 25*OT.
Edit: Not sure why, but this downloaded as an uneditable (Read-Only) spreadsheet.
I hit File, Save As, and under "Save as type" scrolled to OpenOffice.org 1.0 Spreadsheet(.sxc)
This seems to do the trick.
Then turn off SpellCheck (ABC-squiggle) and slide the tab/horizontal divider to the right.

Thanks Mike for offering a different version, one that allowed me to get an .xls download. I will mainly use the last 5 years data but it will be nice to be able to look back at any series in the last 20 years quickly.

I wish b-r would give us access to gamelogs from the 80s. That would be a lot more convenient, rather than having to search around the net for this stuff.

Is this interesting?
It still seems to work. I don't remember doing this.
