Maybe I missed an occurrence but I don't think I saw any recent year games listed here with 2 monster games in it, or specifically star vs. star mutual monster games or even more narrowly star mostly guarded by star mutual monster games. Those would be even more special but I am not going to hunt for them myself.

It could also be interesting to check how many monster games involved a key missing player, teammate and / or opponent.

In playoffs there are a few, where the top 100 GmSc are any above 38.3 -- and none of these would be top 100 by the regular season minimum of 46.0. Then again, playoff games are 'bigger'.

Code: Select all

5-28-21 tm Min TS% Pts Rb As St Bk TO GmSc BPM
Harden Brk 39 .864 41 7 10 1 0 2 40.5 24.7
Tatum Bos 41 .617 50 6 7 2 1 1 41.8 21.0

10-9-20 tm Min TS% Pts Rb As St Bk TO GmSc BPM
Butler Mia 47 .721 35 12 11 5 1 3 41.3 20.6
LeBron LAL 42 .846 40 13 7 3 0 4 39.1 23.2

8-23-20 tm Min TS% Pts Rb As St Bk TO GmSc BPM
Murray Den 43 .753 50 11 7 0 1 0 45.2 23.0
Mitchell Uta 38 .730 51 4 7 0 0 4 39.4 10.1

4-30-88 tm Min TS% Pts Rb As St Bk TO GmSc BPM
Floyd Hou 44 .795 42 3 9 1 0 2 38.4 15.6
Olajuwon Hou 43 .618 41 26 2 3 4 3 40.1 13.0

One could look for a game in which 2 teammates total more than the 78.5 of that last entry.

Thanks.

The middle two might have had some star guarding star.
