Lakers center search should include Portis, R Williams, Boucher, Bitadze, K Williams, Day'ron Sharpe... maybe B Lopez.

Spurs will make draft picks and trade or not trade for Durant. What else? To what cumulative effect next season? Playoffs or not? More likely not.

Spurs have to pass 5 to get 8th seed. Going for it.

For Jazz, my priorities would be Clayton long-term and probably Sensabough at least for early test.

I'd be open to playing anyone a little early.

I'd be open to trading anyone by deadline or next summer. I'd guess that most of the current are not adequate and are not going to become adequate or good.

It probably comes down to having a design and fitting to it. I don't think there is anyone you build the design around with effort, except maybe Clayton. I see no clear design with current roster. Will be interesting to see what they try as a design, if they have one.

Can Kings find a buyer for Sabonis? I think they should try. Should anybody try to buy? That is a tougher question. Probably not a contender.

I see the mostly terrible playoff record but can't say I fully understand it.

Bulls, Suns and Wizards might be possibilities.

Blazers have quite a few vets now. If most or all are retained, conpeting for a playoff spot is more credible. Sale to a new owner eager to be at least decent is also enhanced.

Scoot Henderson? Might be on way out.

Don't know what Hornets are thinking with LaMelo. Still foundation or looking to move?

If keep, need to have clear design choice on usage. Career high 36% came with career low 54% ts%. Cut back to 30% or 28 or 25%? There is trying and achieving. Seems unlikely to get cooperation but haven't studied closely. Teammates could be more willing to shoot now and less willing to pass it back. First month or two will be interesting to see if anything has significantly changed.

No clear idea at the moment what the Bulls design is, especially with guards.

Will they play Essengue with Buzelis a lot? How will the results go? Any positive synergy?

When do they want to make playoffs, compete to next level beyond that?

Sticking with Coach... and systems and lineup management?

What is the design choice at center?

Pistons... another step forward, stay similar or fall back? At the moment I am pretty skeptical but just beginning to look.

How likely and how quick does Dumars push the fire Coach button this time?

Don't know what Suns really expect. I am very skeptical, short and long-term.

I am probably more skeptical of Blazers than most, but see what it looks like after 10-20 games.
