Doncic on Lakers is about the same as on Mavs in most categories. Two biggest differences are shooting (2 ok games, 3 weak) and a couple extra blocks.

Still time to change or maneuver but most likely scenario for Lakers is 5 seed facing Rockets.

Bucks - Pacers is likely. Bucks 2-0 against Pacers earlier.

Bones Hyland to TWolves. Will that have immediate impact on Dillingham and / or Conley? Off season impact on Conley or Alexander Walker? Lots of guards.
Randle stays or gets traded? Gobert stays or gets traded?

With closeness of 2-5 and 6 to 9 or 10 in west, almost any matchup are possible. Matchup manipulation hard to do now but might play a factor later.

Magic, 7 - 16 over last 23. But 5 -5 over last 10. Barely holding 8th seed.

I'd pick up Anton Watson for a lot of teams.
Based on college. G league was kinda weak.
Update: Knicks take him.

Wizards down 24 with a few minutes to play. None of the 5 main youngsters had an acceptable game.

So if 2-5 is one group set with 4 teams and 6-10 a second set with 5 teams, then every team will want to finish as high as possible.
6-10 is obvious with the play-in.
Teams 2-5 would much prefer to be in bracket away from OKC, so 2-3 much better than 4-5.
In the East you may have someone who would prefer to be in Cavs bracket than Celtics, so we could have a team preferring 6th place to 5th.

The example of Micic is a replay of what tends to happen with big name European guards.
The shooting is tougher in NBA, in general and from the longer, perhaps better defended 3pt line and in the lane. Turnovers can be a bigger problem. Defense is harder. Things don't revolve around them as much.
The European stars in NBA are mostly bigs.
"Skills" can be over-rated in lesser leagues.
European team concepts & practices may be good but that is different than talent, talent translated to the NBA court.

Kawhi Leonard at -0.1 BPM, because of big declines in efg%, FT rate and defense.
LeBron agrees but other metrics are considerably higher.

Will Mavs extend Irving? Wait out his recovery? Try to trade him?

Of bottom 12 teams, I assume at least 9 stay at that bottom level next season.

Could just be an unusual blip, but Nurkic increased his assist rate with Hornets to almost 3× of his rate with Suns and TO% went down slightly. Basically disappeared last 2 games though.
Anybody got analysis on that, besides LaMelo out once or twice when Nurkic played?
Overall Hornets offense got worse from last season, defense better. Net margin modestly better but win% slightly worse.
What was learned?
1st and 3rd most lineups were awful and horrible. 6 of 7 most used negative. Josh Green negative with 10 of 10 most used pairs. Same for Bridges. Ball negative with 7 of 10, the exceptions being bench players. Same with Miller.
702 lineups used so far. 4 for equivalent of 1+ minute per game. 649 for 10 minutes or less for season.
That ain't a successful way to run the team.
Building blocks? Ball Bridges Miller Williams is about neutral in less than 100 minutes. Apart from injury troubles, would ifeally want that close to 1000 minutes given the lack of notable good alternatives. With Green completed the only bigger minute positive lineup.
In long run, 1 or more of these pieces might deserve replacement efforts but until then go with that.
Stop messing with nearly 700 dink lineups. Even 200 dink lineups is ridiculously wasteful of testing opportunity and inefficient with results but getting rid of 500 distractions would be a major step toward learning something about at least a few lineups.
