BPM estimates 80% of guys who play at least some center and over 250 minutes this season as negative on OBPM. For PGs it is about 50%.

Lillard's RPM estimate this season without Aldridge is only half as positive as last season with him. 12th rated PG this season.

Amongst the very top on RPM, Westbrook, Leonard, Green and Jordan improved by nearly 2 pts on RPM estimate this season over last, Lowry 3.5. Rubio up by 2. Harden down almost 3, Middleton down about 2.5, Tony Allen down 3, Klay Thompson down by almost 2. Danny Green down almost 4.

DeRozan up almost one to the whopping +0.73. Oladipo up about 2.5 to 2.23. Jeremy Lamb up 3. Bazemore up 3. Jeff Green up by more than 2 pts. Harrison Barnes up almost 2. Marvin Williams up 2.5. Dirk up 1.5. Kanter up slightly to -2.38 and 66th place amongst centers.

Wiggins down a tick to -1.71. Belinelli down almost 3 to almost -6. Who needs advanced stats, eh Vlade? Derrick Rose down about 6 to -5 estimate. Self-described "hardest worker on team" Staukas down more than another point to almost -6.

Anthony Davis down 5.5 to +2.74.

Before last night, just one player had scored 40 in a playoff game, while not starting the game. Since 1984.
In 2003, Nick van Exel did it. For Dallas, in a 2 OT win over the Kings. It was the game after the one in which Webber blew his knee.

In conference finals, we have just Isiah '87 hitting 150-60; but in 7 games, he misses both per-game marks.

Deron Williams 2010 is the only player to avg 25-10 in round 1, for 6 or 7 G, since '84 at least.

A couple of days ago, I saw an article noting that Kyle Lowry had the worst FG% of any player in a postseason (w >200 FGA) in 50 years. Looked it up, and it was so.
Also spotted DeMar DeRozan among the 'elites' in that category.

Sorting by eFG% Lowry moved up to several spots above the bottom. DeRozan moved closer to the bottom.
Sorting by TS%, Lowry was in the 20's, DD still near ground zero.

Now, after a good performance by both guys, it looks like this: Lowry 4th-worst, DeRozan 10th. Still pretty alarming to have your 2 backcourt guys in an alltime bottom 10.
This year's Damian Lillard FG% was .368 -- 5th worst since 1967.

Switch to the more appropriate eFG%, and DeRozan sinks to 5th -- he's 4/24 from the arc. Lowry roars to 39th above the bottom.
By TS%, DeRozan rises to #11 -- ahead of HOF/champs West'72, Cunningham'67, and 3 other members of title teams.
Lowry then ranks ahead of 34 others: those guys plus DeBusschere'70, Rondo'08, Hollins'77, Russell'68, SJones'69, Parker'03, VMaxwell'94, and Pippen'96.

Billups and Ginobili each had a postseason in the bottom 100 FG% and top 100 TS%.

Both conference finals are at 4 games, and the remaining teams have at least 14 playoff games.
In postseasons of 14+ games, just 6 players have averaged 10 or more assists; for a total of 16 times -- half by Magic Johnson.

The only stat that b-r.com currently searches per playoff series, that's given as a per game average is Game Score.
It's also not tailored to any one player type; so we may kinda sorta say these are the best playoff series at different levels. First rounds are dominated by short series pre-2003.

Trivial !
In conference finals series:
Shaun Livingston (GSW) has gone 100 minutes in this WCF without a FTA.
In the ECF, Channing Frye went 99 min. without stepping to the stripe.
These aren't near any record -- Shane Battier went 267 FT-free minutes in the 2012 ECF. Bruce Bowen in a 2-yr interval, '07-08, went over 300 -- but both make the "top" 11 (since 1984).
