APBeerMetrics and Sunday Basketball, as usual!

The return of Sloan means the nation's basketball geeks will gather in Boston again. Hooray!
As I have every year since the very first year of Sloan, I'll be glad to welcome our community to grab a drink Thursday night before the conference. Unfortunately (it still makes me sick to my stomach to type it), the longtime home for this gathering, The Fours, once recognized as the #1 sports bar in America by SI, is closed forever.
Was looking for a bigger spot near the Garden since we play that night, but there wasn't one easily available, so as a result the gathering will be at the same place by the Hynes where it was the last couple years, starting at 9pm. They’ve added an additional bar space there with room for more people so it shouldn’t be as crowded as it was last year. A bunch of us probably won't show up until 11ish after our game though. PM me for details on the location if you need them.
Much like previous years, we'll also have a geeks pickup basketball game Sunday morning - PM me for the info on that too.
