Anyone know if the guys are producing a book for the new season?
The old BP site doesn't paint a very positive outlook.
Any info would be great.
Thanks

No, Basketball Prospectus is no more in any form. With the help of Tom Haberstroh, Bradford and I have done the same content this year for ESPN Insider's NBA preview.

Thanks for the update Kevin.
That's a real shame. It was a fantastic publication.
I signed up to Insider and the content seems to be quite a bit different. I really enjoyed the BP team essays and team history boxes which seem to be no more (?)
I hope you guys can find a way to bring it back. Maybe give ESPN some of the profits and sell it as a leader to get more people to Insider!?

The team essays are just rolled out separately from the player profiles. I believe they'll start showing up next week. (The team history boxes, alas, will probably not make it online.)

SCHOENE ... not sure yet. We're still figuring out a lot of how this is going to work since what we've done is slightly different than what Hollinger did in the past.

Looks like they're releasing SCHOENE projections on Insider -- rolling out two a day, one in each conference based on projected order of finish.

Also looks like they're releasing 5-on-5 interviews for each of the teams same day. And while they leave release dates for each team (and projected finish spots) blank on SCHOENE, they list the dates for 5-on-5 interviews, which passes the sniff test for a projected order of finish.

5-ON-5 SEASON PREVIEW SCHEDULE
10/7: Heat | Spurs 10/8: Bulls | Clippers 10/9: Nets | Rockets
10/10: Pacers | Thunder 10/11: Pistons | Wolves 10/14: Hawks | Grizzlies
10/15: Knicks | Nuggets 10/16: Raptors | Mavericks 10/17: Cavs | Warriors
10/18: Wizards | Blazers 10/21: Bobcats | Pelicans 10/22: Bucks | Lakers
10/23: Celtics | Jazz 10/24: 76ers | Kings 10/25: Magic | Suns
