BPM/VORP/Others Leaderboard and Season Trends

Post by kjhogo »

Hey Guys - since BBRef added in some of these metrics I thought it would be interesting to trend them over a season and also break them out by position leaders. Nothing wildly insightful added on my end, these are all numbers that are available, but I've had fun playing around with it.

Positions are BBref default but I might go through and reassign some people. I'm updating it daily for the most part and you have the option to go back to any point in the season for comparison.

I love Tableau! :)

You do have one issue with the dashboard: the minutes played filter is not working globally; it's only acting as a local filter on the PG table pane. That's an easy fix.

Looks sharp!
