An excel template for line up analysis

Hey everyone, hope all is well with you.

Curious, I know there are tons of websites and pages out there that do NBA or NCAA line up analysis but would any of you find it rude of me to ask for an excel sheet where anyone can place in regular box score data to check any 12 players not depending on league or level status as long as they have data? If that at all makes any sense.

Thank you for any and all responses up front

Not sure what you are asking. Perhaps you could give more detail? What are you starting with and what are you trying to produce and study? Would this help? https://gc.com/

Guys sorry for the absence, I had been busy with the Euroleague Final 4 and the events that followed in Europe.

I do know about game changer its more a logging tool than anything.

I am after something a bit more in the lines of an excel sheet that can spit out advanced metrics based on box score information.

Attached is a sample of the data that is available by the Turkish Basketball Federation, deep apologies for the formatting it is the only thing that is available, based on the attached for instance would it be possible to get a template sheet from anyone on the forums?

I hope to input the data by simple copy and paste in replacing the basic data and if someone could be kind and generous enough to help me on my quest I would highly appreciate and give high praise as much as I can throughout the writing that I plan on doing.

I am also interested to find out if it is at all possible to add a win probability calculator similar to http://stats.inpredictable.com/nba/wpCalc.php but aimed at FiBA rules I think the biggest trick would be the fact that quarters are 10 minutes instead of 12 and I wonder if the probability calculations are affected by that at all?

I would like to be able to add a similar calculator to a wordpress based site...

Draft express has pretty thorough stats for 7 European leagues. http://www.draftexpress.com/stats.php Maybe you can ask / convince them to add the Turkish league. Or maybe they can send you their datasheet with the formulas. Or same things with basketball-reference.

Is what Eurobasket.com provides for stats with subscription insufficiently "advanced"? I guess so.

You could also ask around here http://www.eba-stats.com/ http://www.ebaforums.com/

fyi, this is his site http://advanceprobasketball.com/en/ Looks like you are off to a good start.

If no one has an existing calculating excel template they are willing to share, it shouldn't be that hard to build using the formulas given at basketball-reference for most or maybe all of the advanced stats. If you get stuck on a specific stat, maybe someone with help with that vs. the whole thing.

Crow, thanks for the response, and much appreciated feedback about my website too.

I will look into the forums and websites that you mentioned.

I did create a template over the evening and have been using it to some extent... hence the analysis on the website.

Maybe one follow up I would like to try and get a response to further would be if there is a way that I can get advanceprobasketball.com on http://apbr.org/ do any of you think that would be possible.

I mean I think I stand at a unique stance in terms of the fact that I am trying to get Basketball Analytics recognized in Turkey and if I could get linked to http://apbr.org/ directly that would give me all the credability I could ever wish for...

Thanks to you all in advance once again...
