I'm a little surprised there's no mention of RPM or BPM at the end. Win Shares and PER are great, but even the author kind of admits they're outdated.

Oh I saw, but those things still existed lol. Just a little surprised there was nothing along the lines of "there are plus/minus stats which are more complicated but they exist and are good".

RPM didn't exist when this was written. It was written December 2013, this intro to RPM was in April 2014:
