Do coaches matter? A new study says yes, significantly in basketball. Will anyone on any Sloan panel comment on this study?

Draft pick protections. Impressive study. How well did NBA understand the subject before this paper? How much will it affect that understanding and action? Will any panelist or any NBA front office exec ever comment publicly on the paper?

Lineup points lost. Very good topic. Some names named. Would love to see more. Will any Coach show interest in this?
Does Dave Joerger use this information? Any sign of this being an important part of the Kings surge yr over yr?

So did any of the research papers get mentioned on any of the panels? Did any one hear the authors or talk with them?

Anybody have comments on the Chasing Unicorns basketball analytics panel? So far I have not been able to view the video. And have heard zero comments on it. Anything said beyond common knowledge to those that follow the field?

Sloan Conference twitter had a few "amazing" quotes. "Different ways to win." "Warriors went small because those were the best players." If those are the highlights..

Maybe they were the highlights. So far I have found nothing second-hand of significance. Lots of folks went, I see I was there pics but no tweeted revelations. Eventually will listen to the panel. Based on least news reporting on basketball analytics from panel(s) for any year I can remember and how little new was ever said at those panels, I am not expecting much. But will check later anyways.
