Fixing the Warriors

Start Paschall over Chriss. (Green to center)
Start D Lee over D Russell for now. Make Russell the 6th man. It is the Curry Show. Russell doesn't look like he fits or helps with that.
Start A Burks over G Robinson when he returns.
Chew D Green out. If he does not hustle better, remove from starting lineup. Back to more PF when is in shape, trying more.
More Spellman on trial. WCStein gets lots of minutes from the other bigs as he is ready. Of course Looney when available.
Sign Deyonta Davis to 2 way, if he will accept. Release Ky Bowman.
Also consider Alan Williams, L Stephenson, Jerebko, Devin Harris, and Blossomgame IF can create the necessary salary space by trades / waivers.
Possibly Bogut again later.

Kerr has used 42 lineups in 2 games. 16% cumulatively positive. Lots of dink lineup chaos. 1 lineup used more than 5 minutes per game and horrendous at that.
What did they learn from pre-season? I dunno. Not lineup management with this group. Preseason indicated to me at minimum that they had no bench and that Draymond was way off. Russell was decent in the boxscore except maybe for assist rate.
Draymond probably needs to play-make more. I saw him go to the corner a lot yesterday. That doesn't really make sense. Him just stand around doesn't make sense. Need more picks, more passes.

The main 3 challenges at factor level for them are to shoot the ball way better, defend the shot way better and reduce fouling if they can while defending the shot better.

Last year, the Cavs set the all-time record for worst season D-Rtg, 117.6
Before that, the '91 Nuggets were worst ever at 114.7
Thru 3 games, the Dubs are 119.1
But they've gotten better:
133.7
117.0
109.7

Game 3 was better. Green better and moved to center with starters as suggested. Chriss out of starting lineup. Other changes to starters still needed, probably coming.

Warriors are top 8 on 5 factors.
They are bottom 6 on the two that matter most.

From a Moreyball perspective they are high on shots at the rim and average from 3 pt line and ft line. Not light years ahead. Probably below average of good teams.

Next change out: G Robinson.

Faried might be a possibility.
Doubt they trade Draymond yet, but what are the offers?

The only thought I've seen that made some sense (still don't think I'd do it from the Warriors perspective) for a Draymond trade was something centered around Nurkic from Portland. Lets Portland contend this season and gets the Warriors a serious long term player (on a pretty good deal). Obviously contingent on medicals and the like.

A trade of D Green might be pretty hard. Who would show interest with realistic chance to do it? Maybe Orlando, Miami, Portland.
Under the circumstances they probably wait at least 8 months. Maybe 20-28.

Hard to guess on best Russell - no Curry lineup without more work / data but the best might be Poole - Russell - Paschall possibly with Robinson and Green. But try several front courts (and alternatives to Poole and Robinson too). Maybe Russell Somebody Paschall Green WCS.

Paschall goes for 25.
WCS decent. Some other players decent.
A loss tonight but not bad.

How did they let go of K Nunn? Better review that carefully.
