Looking at the Bulls

They are ok at getting 3s up. Strong at offensive rebounding and opponent turnovers. Lousy at pretty much all other factors.
Big net fta deficit has more than doubled in size in last 10 games.
Most used lineups show ok to good things but not used near enough. Dink lineup results appear weak.
Under-performing expected wins.
Lots of bad T Young and C White pairs. LaVine horrible with both. Got to change rotation or roster.
The 3 guards with Carter is absolutely the way to go for huge minutes. LaVine works with that but may or may not drive that.

Boylen is awful and so is the roster.

The sub-lineup data suggests White should stay with the bench. Arcidiacono or Dunn, Valentine, Young & Gafford. But they probably plan to move on from several of these, so maybe start looking for something else that works.
With current starters hasn't worked but maybe there is something they missed. Probably have to remove LaVine and maybe Markannen too. Send them to run the bench or trade them. They probably need to trade at least 1, probably 2 would be better, maybe all 3.
I dunno if Porter has a role. Probably not if they continue to run 3 guard lineups successfully. If he doesn't opt out, probably trade him too.

Seems unlikely they change the front office without changing the coach too. Atkinson? A top NBA assistant? A college coach under 50? I probably wouldn't go for most of the retread candidates.

Will they get the Nuggets GM? 50-50. Take Zanik? I dunno. They might have to outright fire the holdovers and try again.

1st round pick? Going to be tricky and important. Some over-hyped players might slip and still be available to them. Partly depends who they trade or expect to trade in coming year. Could make a case for a player at most positions.
Center is probably not at top of shopping list but could argue for it based on matchup data. Could trade one or more of the current centers. Playing Markkanen there has produced poor individual and team results. Maybe it could different with a different strategy & coach but that is a theory that would have to argued about and then proven.

Atkinson? I dunno. Would be different approach. Would it work? I'd lean no. Maybe if they want to be a defensive biased team.

Bulls fired Krause at about 4.5 years into a 6 year down cycle. Paxson / Forman gone 2.5 yrs in this time. How long will the remainder of the down cycle last? Previous rise saw coaches make progress but let go at first slip or stall. Will Kaurnisovas pick a long-term winner right out of gate? Show patience or use the hook?

Lousy defense except best in league in forced turnovers. Probably should give some on turnovers to improve efg% against and / or ftas allowed.
Lousy offense except offensive rebounding. Probably can retain that from center spot while pursuing changes in perimeter to alter other factors.
Shot distribution emphasizes shots at rim (highest in league). Can they hold that or close and increase ftas? Probably need to try some change in tactics. 3 pt frequency is ok but of course try to increase.
Need to increase defensive rebounding. Different ways to do it but from center spot would be the typical approach. Less to no Gafford?
Faster or slower? Probably faster.

Kaurnisovas: Bulls "have great young core", "drafted well"?
Nope. Nope. Seems like over the top hype to me. Didn't expect that tact. Can't really square that with Forman had to go and had an incompatible philosophy.
Draft was more ok than good. Imbalanced. Half the young core might be salvageable but little reason to be confident in it / call it "great".
If player retention / continuity is going to be emphasized, I wouldn't be that hopeful in early part of next window. Would put more pressure on coach and culture change.
But it is probably in the moment happy talk.

Is Dunn a keeper to Kournisovas? Got to decide pretty quick.
Feature White? I am skeptical but I guess they have to try.
Carter? I see they see him as quality / core. But I think there is room for some doubt there.
Valentine, Felicio, Hutchison, etc.? Who develops further? Where to stop & let go?

Team with a mixed, overall fairly average Moreyball shot distribution, needing enhancement imo, hires a VP from one of the least Moreyball teams, who then hires a GM from a clearly and uniformly below average Moreyball team. And the shot distribution strategy will be...?

No more Boylen to properly blame. So now it is get it right or take more blame for others.
