Anything to this recurring account of him "stepping up" in the playoffs?
Trying to get RS and PO numbers in chronological order, here's a table showing his team and playoff minutes for each year he's been in the postseason.
At the bottom is minutes-weighted difference from RS to PO for some summary stats.

BPM corrects for the competition, and +1.7 is significant.
WS/48 normally drops by about .020 in playoffs, as avg competition goes from .500 teams to .600 or so, and avg player from .100 to .080-ish.
