Where to find stats for various leagues?

Post by lemur21 »

I'm trying to locate some stats (that, really, shouldn't be that hard, IMO) but I'm finding that some semi-pro leagues were less diligent about stats than colleges.

I've scoured through sports-reference, but -- are there ANY places to get yearly stats for

1. The CBA
2. The USBL

Both of which were less than 50 years ago (I'm honestly only interested in from 1980-on). Wikipedia does list the yearly leaders; so statistics *did* exist for the CBA. And, the USBL also kept stats (as leaders are listed); but I'm wondering if such a database exists containing *all* the stats for these leagues (from 1980 (or 1985, in the case of the USBL) through their demise)?

Also - is there ANY such reference for high-school ball players? I do recognize that HS stats are a case of garbage in/garbage out, usually; but I'm curious if there's even a semi-accurate place to grab those stats? Especially since Street & Smiths stopped covering HS sports with the vigor they had during the 80s.

Thanks for any leads :)

CBA https://www.statscrew.com/minorbasketball/l-CBA

Search this list to see if anything is useful on USBL. Wikipedia page has a link to waybackmachine archives but I didn't see anything via phone.

High school, start here.

Also look by state and / or city. Or school.

This is wonderful - thank you so much. The CBA link is a godsend.
