Re: 2019-20 lineup analysis
They lost their starting center between game 1 and 2, and their backup center between game 2 and 3. If you look at their 4-man lineups the top 9 are a combination of the same 6 players. https://stats.nba.com/lineups/advanced/?Season=2019-20&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&GroupQuantity=4&Tea...

Re: 2019-20 team win projection contest
My model treats all rookies exactly the same. I'd say that the pels are one of the many blindspots with this model.

Re: Discrepancies in RAPM
The one posted here was an attempt to get as close as possible to JEs values. Playoffs are included here and the lambda value is different here than on the site.

Re: Discrepancies in RAPM
You're the best, thanks for the quick answer. This difference has been bothering me for a couple of days and I've been at a complete loss for what I was doing wrong.

Discrepancies in RAPM
I'm trying to reconcile some discrepancies between my version of RAPM and JE's version of RAPM for the 2016-17 season. Chrome Extension for downloading Stats(dot)NBA(dot)com data
I have created a simple chrome extension for downloading data from stats(dot)nba(dot)com as csvs. I'd love for people to play around with it and give feedback. Go to the page you want, right click, and select Download data, a popup will appear asking if you want to download the data from the api end...

Here are CSVs with play by play and players on the court going back a few years. As for analysis, I'm not sure how you could work with this data with out some knowledge of coding.

Re: 2018-19 season commentary
I tried to add a small luck adjustment to RAPM last year with 2 changes to the play by play: The points scored off free throws to the FT% of the shooter.
