Opponent Production by Position
Opponent Production by Position
Hi i would like to ask for a help. I need to find Opponent Production by Position like this http://www.82games.com/1314/1314SAS5.HTM but for whole career of players... do you have any idea where to get them? thanks a lot...
Re: Opponent Production by Position
I think you will have to summarize them from the season pages at 82games.
Re: Opponent Production by Position
hoopsstats.com
Re: Opponent Production by Position
hoopsstats.com is good for a lot of things but the opponent data there is not based on play level data so I won't try to use it for this. The data is only a rough match-up based on boxscores, not who a player actually guarded minute to minute when both where on the court.
Re: Opponent Production by Position
ye, i know about hoopsstats but these two are the only ones with this statistics...
Re: Opponent Production by Position
I know it says that the League average PER is set to 15. Is there anywhere where I can see, without going to every team page and copying them, the range of numbers around 15? I would like to be able to know at a glance if a position is 16.4 if that meant it's production was in the top forty percent or thirty percent or what.sirda wrote:Hi i would like to ask for a help. Re: Opponent Production by Position
Not sure if 82games ever got around to correcting their version of PER. A few years ago, there were substantial differences in their calculations.
Right now, the Spurs are shown to have an aggregate PER of 17.16 (sum of position PER /5 ). But adding up their PER * minutes from b-r.com, and dividing by total minutes, their team PER is 16.37
