Help get data

Post by sirda »

Hey all,

I'm new here. I study statistics in Prague. Sports statistics aren't very popular here as a subject of study, but that is not the point of my post. I'd like to ask you, how you get your data. I'd love to do some player box score analysis, but i can't find any sources. I onlz found season averages, but I need numbers from each game. Where do you get such data? I'm not very skilled as a programmer, so ideally I'm looking for xls files.

I'm looking forward to sharing any interesting things I find.
Thanks for ideas.

On a player's page, click on the Season entry to get that year's Game Log.

Click on the CSV atop the table, copy the data field into Notepad, and import into Excel.
Comma delimited.
