Westbrook: 41 pts; Cousins 31 tonight
Is that the record for combined points by players with uniform number zero in same game?

Re: Trivia
The Bulls have won 18 straight Thursday TNT games. They are 134-116 in non-TNT Thursday home games during that time span.
Re: Trivia
Vs. ATL last night, Kyrie & LBJ became the 1st pair of teammates to record at least 35 PTS & 8 ASTS in a non-OT game since 1966. (via Elias)

... the Wizards are now the first franchise in NBA history to start a season 2-8 or worse, and then reach 15 games over .500. They’re 39-24 now, a mark no 2-8 team has ever come close to reaching.
The Wizards, of course, are 37-16 since that dreadful start, which is tied for the third-best record in the league over that span...
Re: Trivia
Before this season, just 5 players have posted a season with Usage >30 and ORtg >120.
Bird and Jordan first did it in 1988; MJ had 6 more such seasons. LeBron did it 4 times, Durant twice, Curry once.
This year, both Kawhi Leonard and Isaiah Thomas are headed to this elite territory.

Mike G:
Last night, the 27-39 Blazers, on the 2nd night of a road b2b, coming off a 20+ pt loss to NOP defeated 52-14 SAS despite having fewer rebounds, fewer assists and lower overall & 3-pt shooting %ages & depsite LMA's reutrn (32 minutes). Has any other team w/ 25 fewer wins on the 2nd nite of a road b2b, coming off a big loss to a likely lottery team, been outshot, out assisted & and outrebounded and still defeated a team whose 2nd best player was returning from injury?

Re: Trivia
I wouldn't say the Spurs outshot the Blazers overall, because with a bunch of FT, Portland had the better overall TS%, .596 to .560. Then losing the rebound battle by 2 and winning turnovers by 3, they have to win.
Also no idea how (or why) to search for games with that many specific attributes. When you have enough qualifiers, every game will be unique.

Re: Trivia
Yes, the qualifications are like the 9th player since 1994 to have a 21-8-11-3-7-2-etc -etc line in a 2nd game of a road b2b.
And I should have not been so loose w "outshot"

Most of his numbers are up in the interval.Must be the defensive side where he's lacking now; and the team has been worse.

More on Damian Lillard's all-star snubs the last 2 seasons. Here are guards with the most games above certain Game Score levels in these almost-two years:Lillard is top 4 or 5 at every level, a clear cut below the big 3, but at least as great as anyone else.
Of course, he's 4th in the West.

And all players' playoff totals.Jordan somehow dominant over LeBron at the upper end. Barkley over Mailman in super games.

Re: Trivia
Yesterday, the Kings came from 18 points behind with just over 5 minutes remaining to defeat the Clips at Staples, 98-97. Today, a major focus has been on the fact that this is the only come from behind win in the 360 games this season where a team trailed by18 points or more w 5 minutes left. While that, at 1st blush, is a staggering stat, it is also a bit misleading since many of those games invloved much larger deficits at the 5 minute mark and thus were not in the realm of a possible come from behind win. Much more interesting would be how many times a team trailing by ,say, 18-22 or so came back to win in that time frame. Let's exclude the games where a team trailed by more than that. Does anyone here have relatively easy access to that data or can at least suggest how to find it?
Re: Trivia
Between 1995 and 2006, Shaquille O'Neal made 6 Finals in those 12 seasons, winning 4. Can we call this the Shaq Era?
Top Win Shares totals in the interval, and other stats, RS first:Nobody's close to Shaq in PER, only DRob better in WS/48, and only Garnett better in BPM and VORP.
Obviously the totals are skewed by minutes, and most of these guys weren't playing all 12 of the years.
Here's the playoff composite:Duncan's the only player with even half of Shaq's playoff WS and VORP.
Take Jordan from '87 to '98, or LeBron '06-17, and define other 'eras'. Duncan would also work.
