Kings
Re: Kings
Job descriptions:
George Hill, 18 pts, 8 rebs per game. 2,000 passes to Hield. 1,000 to Fox and Jackson.
Carter, do the right little thing a 1000 times. Talk to Jackson, Fox, Bogdanovic a 1000 times each.
Zbo, be tough a 1000 times in games and add a thousand plus times banging, scoring, rebounding on each of the bigs in practice.
Playoffs? Do these things and let others talk about that.

Re: Kings
I have no idea what this team is doing, but at least the have a ton of young guys. The Randolph contract is perplexing. I don't mind the VC deal, though. 1 year, $8M. In theory, he should be good for the locker room. Justin Jackson is a UNC guy, so maybe they can bond over Chapel Hill or something. They're going to bad, but, with some luck (particularly in the lottery next year), they could stumble out of this with a solid nucleus. There are a bunch of lottery tickets on this team. I'm anxious to see which ones become winners.

Re: Kings
Did Perry & Divac fix the Kings or just take a young team and made it no better than meh longer?
Hill, probably ok deal but he isn't part of the future. Randolph and Cater certainly aren't. Bogdan? I have doubts. The draft picks are fine. Fox was a no brainer. Jackson too. Giles who knows.
Was this really "impressive" or closer to meh? It is a lot of activity but the next 2-3 years still aren't going to be much. Probably would be better in long run to be worse awhile longer. Might still turn out that way.

Re: Kings
Not a fan of their picks from analytics perspective other than acceptable Fox pick, with a mix of project bigs (Skal, Giles, PapaG) or old wings with statistical red flags (Jackson, Hield), even with Fox it's a non shooting PG in 2017. The Hill and Zbo signings look like not as horrifying version of Lakers signing Mozgov and Deng, spending money that doesn't fit their timeline at all instead of eg looking for bad contract+draft pick deals. If they wanted a veteran leader there were cheaper options, like the Carter signing
