I read the article. Clearly you've researched and thought about it a lot. I don't really have anything to dispute or add. I am not that into reviewing deep history. But if someone is on a 90s Bull nostalgia or discovery kick, this might give you info not being offered in many of the other articles / stories.

You lost me when you said Kukoc led Croatia in 1992. The name was Drazen Petrovic, by far he best non US player there, and the only player who held his own against the Dream Team

The 1993-94 Pippen had a WS/48 efficiency of .194 (.107 being average)

WS/48 is such that .100 is supposed to be avg. After all, in a regulation game, there are 480 player-minutes competing for 1.0 win.
(With overtimes, it's an avg of about 484 player-min per win, so avg comes out around .992 ws/48)

The Bulls lost power forward Horace Grant to free agency in the 1993 offseason ...

Yet Horace played 36 mpg for the 1993-94 Bulls.

Win Shares is not the only available "advanced" metric. VORP is converted to "wins over replacement" by a 2.7 multiplier.

I’m aware. Petrovic had no relevance to my write-up. Petrovic, Radja, and Kukoc were the big three on that ‘92 Croatian team. Radja led the team in rebounding, Petrovic in scoring, and Kukoc in assists despite playing less minutes than the other two.

It’s likely Jordan and Pippen weren’t as motivated to lockdown Petrovic.
