How does this postseason place Jokic among the best ever?
Since 1974, VORP is counted. So we look at top 20 postseasons in VORP and Win Shares.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/le ... son_p.html
About 15 top PO appear in both top 20s. One by Jordan makes top 10 in one but not top 20 in the other, so I tossed it in.

Then I looked up PO Games to get per-game WS and VORP. This kinda matters.
WS*VORP is actually the square root of that product. /G is just that divided by Games.
xyz is WS*VORP*(WV/G)

LeBron's 2009 didn't reach the Finals. It appears here because it's still top 20 in both VORP and WS; and serves as reminder that the list isn't comprehensive or exclusive, and others would likely be in here, but for the top-20 cutoff.

Nuggets, #1 in regular season on efg%. Third in playoffs by 0.3 % points.

Thunder 24th on efg%.

For the last 13 champions, the regular season efg% rank was less than 2.5 and never worse than 5th.

Have a design & implemention without a top efg% and you are on a different path than recent winners.

Sixers were 6th in regular season. Close to standard. 13th in Playoffs. Vastly short.

The last 4 title winners before this playoffs were on average a 5.75 conference seed. They average winning 1.25 rounds this time. Just one made conference finalsand now in finals.

Durability at the top varies but there wasn't much this season for those four.

Every one of the 10 most used lineups in playoffs had a Center sized guy. The smallest PFs in that top group by height were Nic Batum and Aaron Gordon. Not small in the back when it counted.

IF Thunder make playoffs with a 200 pound center and a guard at PF that will be very different.
