Any truth to @nbacouchside's claim that the NBA is going to kill nba_api?
He's tweeted about the supposed impending doom of nba_api a couple times, most recently https://x.com/NBACouchside/status/1781364508801298749. He seems somewhat connected in the analytics community, so I can't dismiss his claim out of hand. I know some forum users here have extensive experience in the analytics space, so I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this? It's a concerning thought for someone like me who heavily relies on nba_api for fun projects.
