How high will Jokic on career regular season pts, rebs, assists, RPM, awards, titles?
Currently will take about 20,000 points to make that top 50 all-time. He has good chance. A bit less than 10k rebounds for that top 50. Modestly more than 5k assists. He probably gets the 5k assists unless the role changes. 10k rebs is doable too is he plays to or last age 32.
Points plus rebounds plus assists? How high will he get on the sum (how ever you weight it or leave unweighted)? Compared to Doncic, Bird, Magic, O Robertson, LeBron, Barkley, Westbrook, Durant, etc.?
LBJ may get to 30kplus pts, 10k rebs, 10k asts. Has anyone gotten to 20/10/10 yet? Nope. But probably one or more coming.
Jokic, career projection
Re: Jokic, career projection
Only two other players have collected 4700 Pts, 2700 Reb, and 1400 Ast by age 23: McGrady and Giannis.
It took Giannis 5 years, TMac 6, Jokic not yet 4.
Multiply Jokic's Pts, Reb, and Ast by 1.2, by age 25 those 2 are joined by LeBron, Durant, Garnett, and Antoine Walker.
At factor 1.4 @26, Durant, TMac, and Giannis are out; Oscar Robertson is in.
Jokic 1.6 @26 = LeBron, Garnett, Oscar, and Walker.
x 1.8 @ 28 add Larry Bird
Players with twice Jokic's current totals -- that is, 9414 Pts, 5538 Reb, and 2984 Ast -- by age 29, Oscar has dropped out.
At the next station (2.2@30), we have LeBron with twice the assists and 2.5 times the points; Garnett with almost 2x the Pts and 40% more Reb; and Bird with 50% more pts and his best years just starting.
Garnett without the defense? Bird without the scoring?
