Using the same format and formula as with the 'most improved' list, showing stats with latest/current team on the left, and previous team on the right.

Relatively few players did worse with their new team, mostly in very few minutes with one or both teams.
Several guys were with 3 teams -- Greg Monroe was with 4 -- and the comparison was made between the two with most minutes.
Norman Powell averaged 21.4 pts in 25 mpg for the Clipps, for all of 5 games.

If GMs did this well with judging underwhelming current fit and better fits thru trades, MAYBE they should try to judge fit in the draft more.

Judging fit of your potential outgoing trade players ON THE OTHER TEAM is certainly not an obligation but doing it well could help in getting deals done and / or raising trade value of those players.

Lance Stephenson has played 4 separate stints with the Pacers. For some reason, he's been no good with 7 other franchises.

Code: Select all

L.S. Min PER WS/48 WS BPM vorp
all 12680 12.2 .066 17.5 -1.3 2.3
Ind 8313 12.8 .087 15.0 -.5 3.1
else 4367 11.1 .027 2.5 -2.8 -.8
Nearly average player with Indiana, bad to sub-replacement anywhere else.

In 2014, he led the league in triple-doubles.
