In terms of impact Doncic is likely to currently be very overrated by box score metrics, either that or the plus minus data is just happening to suck up all his impact through improbable correlations. He rates as good, but not great, by every plus minus metric which does not refer to the box score.

I have him currently 38th (+2.7) in the league for impact when looking at my pure plus minus based metric. I believe that is too low, but I don't believe he is anywhere near second best in the league, and I would certainly say that watching the game bears that out.

Early March less impressive for Doncic than all his previous months of the season.
